All I Want for Christmas 2012

Here are my few material wishes for this Christmas. Honestly, coming up with my wishlist this year was harder than most years. My birthday and Christmas are pretty close together and I already got so many nice things for my birthday (for which I'm very grateful). But I do have a few things that I'd really like to have for the holidays.

I'm hoping to unwrap a few of these goodies this Christmas... just maybe. Ian and I had our Christmas gift exchange a little early last night and he got me the sweetest gift:

He got me this gorgeous opal pendant with a pink sapphire in a teardrop setting. (It's my birthstone!) I love it because it looks like a raindrop and raindrops are always so inspiring to me! Lots of my journal pages and paintings feature raindrops and now I can wear one around my neck. :)

Winter Wishes

All I Want for Christmas

Swept*Away

I'm loving the weather today! SO warm and I have all the doors and windows open! Plus someone down the way is mowing and I'm loving the sounds and sights and smells that are coming with this warm weather! To celebrate, I'm making a packing list for my honeymoon which is coming up in 2 weeks! Eeeeek! At the time that we got married, we were also trying to graduate college, so a honeymoon was out of the question. But now that we have time and a little money, we're heading to Anna Maria Island off the coast of Tampa, FL. I'm also shooting a wedding on the island while we're there, so it's going to be 2-in-1. haha

Here are some pretty things I want for my honeymoon! I'd probably buy them all if I had a million dollars!

A wee Wishlist

Sometimes I get on this kick where I have absolutely NO money but I see things everywhere that I would love to buy. haha I find things that I just KNOW would spark my creativity, or make me feel motivated, etc, but the funds just aren't there. So here's a wee little wishlist of cute things that I would love to own right now. (AKA gift ideas. HA!)

Dollhouse

Soooo I know this is a sensitive topic for some. People either love them or hate them I feel like. Well personally i LOVE them! I think they're so pretty and creative and just inspiring that it can turn into a new hobby! I love it. I wanted to do an inspiration post about my wishes for a pretty blythe! <3 If you really hate Blythes THAT much to stop reading this post, then do so now. :)

Blythes were first created in the 70s. Many photographers and artists had them to practice photographing in different lighting conditions or locations. There are so many different types of dolls you can get ranging from the originals to several types of replicas. There are also tons of customizations you can do on your doll as well like changing her hair, her eye chips, and sanding her face to make it easy to photograph! I want to be a collector so much because I think it would be a really cute and fun hobby!
