I did this project for Project Restyle FOREVER ago and am just now getting around to posting it!

I found this hideously cute vintage skirt at a thrift store and was in love with the pattern, but not with the skirt style. This is probably one of the easiest Project Restyle projects ever, but its still cute anyway! All I really did was hem the skirt considerably and turn it into a high-waisted piece. I really like the after effect and its perfect to add to my wardrobe for spring and summer! Plus its vintage so it gets an A in my book!

skirt: thrifted
shirt: Target
wedges: Target
belt: Rue 21
cross body bag: thrifted
headband: Claire's
choker: Claire's
double finger ring: Claire's
This summer I'm hoping to frequent the thrift and charity shops and rework a ton of great vintage pieces. I really want to try some crewel embroidery on some! Which brings me to the conclusion that I really miss working at the thrift store like I did 2 summers ago. I added SOOO much to my closet for SO cheap! I miss those days!
I hope everyone is having a good evening and enjoying the beautiful weather if you're in the Midwest!
