Love is in the air

First of all, thank you for all of the sweet, encouraging, and hopeful comments on the post about my new job. After many tearful counseling sessions over the phone with my mom, I think we've concluded that my anxiety and apprehension is coming from the fact that many many "firsts" are happening for me in 2010 all at once and it's stressful. It would be on anyone! New job, strange city, living on my own, being away from home indefinitely, not seeing Mom much, getting married, DRIVING! It's the time of year where one segment is ending and another one is beginning and it's just... a lot to swallow. Luckily I have a very supportive family, friends, and my blogland friends to encourage me. Your comments mean the WORLD to me, (I even teared up on a few of them) and although I don't vent a lot on this blog, when I do, it's nice to know that you ladies all have my back and can offer SO much advice!!! I love you all so much!

Aside from all the fun life-affirming drama going on, I've had a few photography jobs lately. During spring, people start to come out of the woodwork and it's SO much fun getting out in the nice weather and just... having fun with the sessions. The 2 I did this weekend were engagement sessions, which are always really fun!!!

Molly & Nathan
Molly's one of my oldest friends from high school. It was so magical to be able to work with them and see them so in love. I know Nathan from high school too, and he's really shy. I don't think I've ever seen him smile that much!

Cory & Shawna
Ironically, the other session I had was for one of Ian's oldest friends (and one of our own groomsmen!), Cory! Shawna and Cory are both HILARIOUS and we were up to some pretty interesting hijinks during the course of their shoot. haha

I'll be back this week with some more interesting posts on craftiness.
