the future is alive today*

guys, seriously I'm so freaking inspired right now and I just want to make things into the wee hours of the morning. I want to create things and play music and eat licorice and just....be.

I need a studio full of colors and scraps and fabrics. pretties and trinkets and glue sticks for me to use. I want a wall full of paints and sequins and gems and eye candy. Mmmm. I want to make a HUGE mess and not have to worry about cleaning it any time soon because creative mess is the best type of mess. I need freedom. I need space.

i want to paint
i want to paste
i want to cut
i want to sparkle.

Let me just say that this incredible girl has captured me today and turned me around out of this not-so-much-with-the-inspiration period I've been going through. I'm serious. For our online class we had an all day crafting video chat and she was so cute and making amazing things and I was a part of it. and it was remarkable. :]

So this weekend the goal is to make things. and shop. shop for things to make things. :]
things I want to make this weekend:
*big bows and barettes
*camera strap cover with my new heidi grace fabric
*wooden toys ;]
*TAIF layout
*paper:08 layouts
*my mom's Christmas gift
*felt charms
*some Christmas cards
*paintings
*lovliness.

i basically want to radiate lovliness. <3

For tonight, I got only a FEW things done.
First, a layout for a new challenge site that I think I'm really going to get into. :] This is for the latest ad sketch at Ad This!

(Target 12x12 autumn paper pack, gesso, Harvest paper pack chipboard frame, Harvest paper pack paper frame, woodgrain contact paper, thrifted lace, butterfly trim, staples, Harvest paper pack chipboard letters, Harvest paper pack paper, black dye ink, date stamp, Sharpie fine tip)

Next, for my DD, day #3!

(white sketch paper, copy paper, DCWV textured cardstock, random paper scraps, Stickles in Diamond, gesso, canvas fabric, embroidery floss, vintage buttons, remarks sticker letters by American Crafts, clear stamps by Autumn Leaves, Stayz-On ink, photo, Sharpie bold tip)

Alright, well that's all until tomorrow. I'm planning a trip to Hobby Lobby tomorrow afternoon in addition to the one I did today, hahaha. Never too much. Today I got some label stickers, Kraft, and wooden toys for an Elsie*cake project! On the list for tomorrow: barettes, fabric, sequins. Hopefully I'm going to have PLENTY of time tomorrow. <3

HEY! Loving your DD so far! I'm proud of us for keeping up. :]

And I really liked your garland too! What a great way to add a little color to your room.

Glad you liked the wrapping ideas! You can totally post whichever you like. Have a good weekend!
