So an update on the job front would go something like this: I got one. I found out on the drive to Florida that I got a shift manager job that I interviewed for at a Claire’s Boutique at Ian’s local mall. I’ve never had a job with that required that magnitude of responsibility like a manager position, but I’m excited to try something new. Plus there are many benefits I can think of that go along with this job:
*I can wear cute clothes and creative accessories! We can even wear tutus!
*I get a fun 50% off employee discount!
*It’s air conditioned
*There’s mall security if I need assistance.
*It’s an ACCESSORY STORE! (Does it get better than that?)
*It’s not Indiana Beach (the amusement park I worked at for 7 summers of my life)
*The managers and other girls that work there are fun and HAPPY!
So there are lots of things to be thankful. And after all, it’s a paycheck, right? I’m just happy I was able to get a decent job at ALL in this economy. So I started work and training on Monday June 28 and it's been a fantastic job so far! It's like playing dress up every day!
I’m off to make the world better one pair of earrings at a time.

aw that is a lot of fun! will you learn how to pierce ears as well? i love claires. i've always been drawn to it since i was a little girl. i use to/still do freak out when it's 10 for $10!
