Gaining Inspiration: Children's books

I'm thinking of starting a little reoccurring segment on my blog (just every now and then) called "Gaining Inspiration." I think many of us that are just starting out in our blogging, art, drawing, or whatever are in constant search for pretty and inspiring things to guide our creative minds. This could help, no?

We can get some of our best inspiration from bright colors, certain shapes & lines, and inspiring messages. What better way to find these themes than in the books our children are reading? I always browse through the chilren's books at thrift stores to see if I can find pretty pages to snap a quick picture of for my inspo file. I pictures of a few of these books on my phone! haha Check them out, study the lines, and starting creating!
